Rev. Morris Jarkloh, District Superintendent of the Sinoe District, the Liberia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church is dead. Rev Jarkloh was pronounced dead upon arrival at the MSF/ELWA Hospital in Monrovia on Friday, September 5, 2014 at about noon. According to Morris Jarkloh, Jr., the son of the deceased, his late father suffered hypertension and every attempt to seek help at several hospitals proof futile. “Most of the hospitals we visited told us they did not have space while others told us they could not handle his situation,” Mr. Jarkloh said. He also said the attempt to get his late father into a hospital started on Thursday, September 4, 2014.
The Late Rev. Jarkloh’s body is at the MSF/ELWA Hospital awaiting result of test to determine whether his death is not Ebola related. He was 61 years.
There is no indication that his death is Ebola related.
His former Cabinet colleague, Rev. Morrison Wleh described him as hardworking, someone who took initiative, and willing to learn.
